Image Cartoonizer can make your photos look as if they were drawings. Actually, this is the desktop version of a service that was previously available on line. Now, this new method has the advantage of allowing you to process large files without the need to send so much data via Internet. In fact, it does not require an Internet connection at all.
The application has an easy-to-use interface, which anyone can use without much effort. It supports common picture formats, including JPG, GIF, and PNG; but BMP files are not allowed as input. Fortunately, it lets you create a list of the files to “cartoonize” to process batches of files in a single session. However, it does not allow applying individual effects to each of the source pictures.
The program supports multiple cartoon effects. When testing the app, I could verify that it can process pictures quite effectively. However, the most interesting effects are not available in the trial version, so I did not have the chance to check the results of these. Fortunately, the program lets you edit your photographs before applying the effects. Thus, you can crop the pictures or add new funny objects to them. Likewise, you can adjust color and brightness.
